IBM Information Archive CTJIW0239E when open properties of Appliance in ISC

When open properties in Integrated Solution Console in Information Archive Management - System Management - General settings error message CTJIW0239E is received.


The IBM Remote Support Manager for Storage server is unavailable. The configuration settings cannot be determined. 


To determine the configuration settings, the RSM for Storage server must be available. The server might be stopped, or there might be an internal network or Secure Shell (SSH) problem.

Administrator response

If an additional error message is displayed, correct the problem that is identified by that message. Ensure that the RSM for Storage server is running and retry the action. 


Enabling Remote Access in RSM temporarily resolve problem.

Go to RSM Web GUI -> Main Menu -> Manage Remote Access -> Enable Remote Access
